Root and Stone Studio began as a quiet kitchen journal — A place to collect gluten-free recipes, process life through Writing, and create something steady in the wake of getting sick from gluten. For someone living with celiac, it became both a safe space and a creative outlet grounded in healing, expression, and care.

Why Gluten-Free, Still
Living gluten-free is not a trend here — it’s a necessity, and also a lens. A lens that’s helped me slow down, learn ingredients from the inside out, and build a relationship with food rooted in awareness and trust.
Root and Stone isn’t about restriction. It’s about what’s possible when you reimagine food from the ground up.
From Journal to Studio
As the journal evolved, so did the space and the mindset — around it. I renovated my actual kitchen, turning it into a fully functioning kitchen studio: a space designed for testing, styling, and capturing gluten-free food with intention.
What began as quiet healing turned into something more expressive — a shift from private processing to creative storytelling. The kitchen became both sanctuary and studio a place not just to cook and write, but to craft images, ideas, and experiences worth sharing.
Today, Root and Stone Studio is both a digital journal and a working creative space where gluten-free living meets expressive content creation. We collaborate with brands, makers, and kindred creatives to craft visual stories rooted in honesty, beauty, and process.
